Terms of service

License

Your purchase grants you a perpetual license to use Loupe within the major version you purchased (e.g. v1.x). The seat count purchased (1 / 3 / 25) governs how many concurrent macOS installations may be activated. Honor-system enforcement applies; we don't make Loupe phone home.

Major-version upgrades

New major versions (v2.0, v3.0, …) are separate products at the upgrade pricing listed on the pricing page. Your v1 license keeps working with v1.x forever.

Refunds

See the refund policy. Within 30 days, no questions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to redistribute the Loupe.app binary, attempt to circumvent activation, or share your activation envelope publicly.

Warranty disclaimer

Loupe is provided “as is.” While we put serious effort into correctness (see Testing Methodology), we make no warranty that Loupe will be free of defects or fit for any particular purpose. The output is forensic-grade because of the chain-of-custody mechanics, not because we promise it's never wrong; the recipient still has to read it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shy Guy Studio's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the Shy Guy Studio business registration. Disputes go to arbitration where permitted; otherwise to the courts of the same jurisdiction.
