Terms of service

Subscription & license

Loupe is distributed through the Mac App Store. Loupe Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) that grants a personal, non-transferable license to use Loupe on the Macs associated with your Apple Account for as long as the subscription is active, subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. New installs begin with a 14-day free trial that converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled beforehand.

Billing, renewal & cancellation

Purchase, billing, renewal, price changes, and cancellation are handled by Apple through your Apple Account — not by Shy Guy Studio. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Manage or cancel anytime in System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or in the App Store.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to redistribute the Loupe.app binary or attempt to circumvent the App Store licensing that gates paid features.

Warranty disclaimer

Loupe is provided “as is.” While we put serious effort into correctness (see Testing Methodology), we make no warranty that Loupe will be free of defects or fit for any particular purpose. The output is forensic-grade because of the chain-of-custody mechanics, not because we promise it's never wrong; the recipient still has to read it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shy Guy Studio's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the Shy Guy Studio business registration. Disputes go to arbitration where permitted; otherwise to the courts of the same jurisdiction.
