Privacy policy
Effective: July 25, 2026. Last updated: July 25, 2026.
Loupe is a Mac App Store app that runs entirely on your device, and this website is a static marketing and documentation site. There are no accounts to create and nothing to sign into. In short: Loupe collects nothing about you, and we collect almost nothing here either.
The Loupe app collects nothing
- No network access, by design. Loupe ships without the
com.apple.security.network.cliententitlement, so the macOS sandbox physically prevents it from reaching any server — including ours. You can verify this yourself withcodesign -d --entitlements -. - The logs, files, cases, narrator output, and exports you process never leave your Mac. No telemetry, no crash reporting, no analytics, no behavioral tracking.
Purchases & subscriptions
Loupe Pro is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the purchase, billing, and your free trial — we never see your name, email, or payment details. Apple provides us only aggregated, anonymized sales and subscription reports. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
This website
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and reliability. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, we don't set tracking cookies, and there are no third-party trackers. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to reply.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, buy data about you, or enrich a profile from third parties.
Your rights
Because we hold essentially no personal data, there is very little to access or delete — but if you have a privacy question or request, email legal@useloupe.toolsand we'll respond within 30 days, regardless of jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, or otherwise). To manage or delete purchase data tied to your Apple Account, use Apple's tools in the App Store.
